Dear Oracle Gurus,

Has anyone implemented Oracle and used raw devices for log files, system, rbs, temp, data tablespaces ? What's your opinion on using raw devices (e.g. via a Logical Volume Manager - LVM) versus cooked UNIX files ? Which do you prefer ?
