Oracle Server 7.3 + Mac = Headache

Need to get the Powerbuider 5.0 to work with the Macs and the Oracle 7.3. Called Powerbuilder and they said Oracle was holding up the SDK for Mac for Oracle 7.3. Called Oracle and they confirmed there is no SDK for Mac available for 7.3 and there is no plan for the foreseeable future. No information can be provided for Version 8. Anyway, the whole situation does not seem to go anywhere....

Does anyone knows if using the ODBC driver is a viable solution? Does anyone use it on the Mac? Any ODBC drivers for Mac/Oracle 7.3 available?
