1. Make sure you are using a 32-bit driver. (I'm assuming that you are running a

   32-bit version of MS-Query. If your ORACLE_HOME directory is ORAWIN95    then you are running a 32-bit version of SQL*NET. Remember: everything     needs to be the same (16-bit or 32-bit). 2. Are you running Office 97 ? If you are then you will need a version 2 or higher

   ODBC driver. Office 97 upgrades ODBC toversion 3 and version 1 drivers are not supported under version 3.
