User Requested Cancel Error

Hi every one,

I am getting this weird error ORA-1013 users requested cancel of operation from a batch program (written in Pro*C 2.2) irregularly. The batch program runs through a large table of 2 million records of six columns and does some updates for some of these records depending on some conditions.

The program gives this error after processing some records. Some times the program runs fine. We are running the system on Oracle 7.3 on AIX.
