DBTools.h++ with Oracle

Hello,

does someone have experience using Rogue Wave's DBTools.h++ with Oracle
on Windows NT?

I need to know,

• is it easiy to use, is it more or less bug free, does it have simple

mechanisms to handle transactions, does it support checkpoints, can the
applications be linked as non GUI NT apps?

• What would be the easiest way to write data to 2-4 tables in a multi

threaded application designed to run on NT (I prefer NT 3.51 but the decision might lead to NT 4.0).

• Are there ready to use examples to use ( together with make files) after installation of Pro*C, especially doing multiple writes (fat writes, binding variables for multiple rows and writing them with one statement)?
• Can Pro*C (2.0, 2.1) applications be built to run as non GUI NT applications?
• Is the usage of direct OCI calls very much faster than using ODBC?
• What's the Pro*C Version of Oracle 7.3?

Any help would be highly appreciated!
