Yes. I've got it on both the workstation and servers.

Looks like a sql*net problem. Make sure the listener is up, and tnsnames.ora has been configuration properly.

No this is not the case. If so, you shouldn't even be able to connect to the database from the clients. Looks like your client's sql*net has been set up correctly, but not your own workstation. Can you ping yourself? As I say, it's more like a sql*net configuration problem.
