However, there is also the need for Oracle applications, such as those in Developer/2000 and Discoverer/2000, to access non-Oracle7 data sources. In such cases, the Open Client Adapter for ODBC is used. [...] Oracle Open Client Adapter for ODBC supports the following non-Oracle7 data sources: o Microsoft SQL Server o Microsoft Access o RDB o Sybase SQL Server and System 10 o Tandem NonStop ODBC Server o Informix Online
