What platform are you on? This is really a very common character set (with a strange name). It's standard ISO Latin-Alpha 1. I've never seen a platform that does not support it, but it's possible that earlier versions like 7.0, 7.1 don't have it on certain platforms (like DEC VAX).
Your release notes and readme.doc files should have a list of contained character sets. Also,. you may want to triple check your spelling in the create database (You posted it correctly). Received on Wed Apr 30 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
