I just had to solve this problem. I don't think you'll like the
answer. The rollback segment on the remote instance is used and you
*can't* pick which one via "SET TRANSACTION...". I had to increase the
size of all our rollback segments. Another reason why rb's are called
the problem children of Oracle.
If you get a better idea about how to do this, I'd be very happy to
hear about it.
