We are also running Oracle 7.3 on HP-UX. We use HP's OmniBack II utility in conjunction with Oracle's Enterprise Backup Utility. OmniBack provides the tape management, scheduling, and tape backup capabilities and calls the EBU for the Oracle specific stuff (ALTER TABLESPACE BEGIN BACKUP, END BACKUP, etc). It works really well.
