Hi Carl:

We are connecting both database. The first one is a local database and the second one is a remote database. For the remote you must configure your sqlnet. The server which have LiveWire must have the client software for sqlnet and the tnsnames.ora all right. And the server which have the oracle must have the listener.ora all right and the listener running.
