Re: Bugs in Oracle 7.3.2

Since I haven't seen it mentioned yet, I'll include a new bug with the 7.3.2.3 release (that our site viewed as a "stable" version to our 7.3.2.1 cost based optimizer core dump woes)...do not use the DIRECT=Y option with the import as it will corrupt datafiles and require recovery from a cold backup of all the files. Oracle says this will be fixed in 7.3.4 so we're holding our breath.... Received on Thu Apr 03 1997 - 00:00:00 CST
