Space leaks typically occur during database shut down. It is a message from Oracle noting how much memory was not flushed to disk prior to shutdown. There is an undocumented init.ora you can set with a parameter with the number of blocks or amount in Kbytes to ignore on space leaks. This gets rid of the error messages.
