I am attempting to install oracle 7.3.2.1 on solaris 2.5. I had the Problem 0RA – 7306, unable to get the shared memory segment. I added the shared memory parameters in /etc/system and re-booted the system. I typed ipcs and I got the message shared memory facility not in system, semaphore facility not in system. I went ahead with the oracle installation, since the manual says that the shared memory is dynamically loaded, the installation failed while trying to create the database.

Now the error is
07307 – sms1sg: shmat error : unable to attatch SGA.

In the action, there is a statement to verify the SGA address, how do I do that. How to resolve this problem.
