Fixed_date parameter

We are using the FIXED_DATE parameter to set the server time for testing of an application. One problem I ran into was the syntax to execute this statement is wrong in the "Oracle 7 Server Manual" (surprise !) but after figuring a way to set the parameter I was unable to "Turn it off". Does anyone know of a way to reset this parameter back to use the System date ? (other than bouncing the server).....
