You could use Networker to handle your tape management issues and SQL*BackTrack from Datatools to backup your Oracle databases. Doesn't really matter that they are parallel servers, you just need to be able to back up the raw partitions. In this case, Networker would NOT require the RAWASM option to backup raw filesystems since SBT would be handling this situation. You can also do HOT backups.
