I have Oracle 7.1.6 running under Solaris 2.5 and I'm using Netscape's Livewire
software. Problem occurs when I'm using Scandinavian alphabets like äöå...

I have 2 Netscape Enterprise 2.01 servers, one on WinNT and one on Solaris. Oracle database was built with character set we8dec so it should be possible
to store scandinavian alphabets and when I make queries from NT based programs
everything works fine...but under Solaris every Scandinavian alphabet turns into a
question mark like this: ääliö -> ??li?

What's wrong with this picture? I dont get it. Somehow Livewire under NT can translate
aplhabets correctly but Solaris&Livewire cannot... I would be grateful for any kind of help
