Stored Procedures randomly failing

We are having problems with stored procedures with ORA-06550 always line 1 column 7. This is random and is not related to the spelling of the procedure or arguments(number or types). Delphi 2.0 front end and Oracle 7.3.

'General SQL error. ORA-06550:line 1:column 7:PLS-00306:wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'PROC_SLACK_DROP_DETECT' ORA-06550:line1,column 7:PLS/SQL:Statement ignored.'

Can anyone offer any suggestions?
