We have recently implemented the EBU. Installation and configuration was not easy. It requires expertise with the media management software (we're using HP's OmniBack II) as well as Oracle. Once we got it configured correctly, it worked great. We back up 4 databases at two locations every day. This news group was an extremely valuable resource for configuration assistance.

One thing to watch out for - We needed to relink the EBU executables before it would work correctly.
