For Oracle to Informix connectivity, you'll need a product from Oracle called Transparent Gateway for Informix, that allows you to issue SQL statements from with an Oracle session to your Informix database without having to even know it is a non-Oracle datastore.

For more information, visit our web page, www.oracle.com, or call Oracle Client Relations at 415-506-7000.
