As a recently joined member of the Oracle Business Alliance Program, and the only person in 2-server Oracle shop (everything from backups to DBA), I am inclined to go with choice "A" (identical - options). I have an older version of enterprise (7.0.x.x.x) and have asked alot of questions to Oracle reps over the last few years. I have consistently received the answer of choice "A" from them. I even asked the question again last month when we joined the BAP and received the same response.

A couple of weeks ago, we purchased WS 7.3 for WinNT. The easy thing to say is that I'll now be able to do a comparison of WS vs. Enterprise. Alas, Enterprise is 7.0 on unix and WS is 7.3 on NT, so I'll leave that experiment to someone else...
