I don't know where they stand now. Last year about this time I gave up on Nutcracker, after reasonable initial results. I ended up doing a native port instead, with lots of NT pipes, threads, and external processes created by a service.
At the time the Nutcracker product was good, but not quite good enough. Support was excellent, but could not always provide timely fixes, especially in the areas of pipes and process handling.
My guess is that by now they are doing a good job.
