need help with protocol.ora

I have a requirement to limit the people who can access a database via sqlnet to specific IP addresses. Oracle appears to have allow for this through the "protocol.ora" file. I am looking for an example of a protocol.ora file from someone who has got this to work (ie I have not been successful).
