I am a new Oracle DBA. The version I have is 7.3.2.1 on NT. I have a few
questions to ask:
- How do I use the NT integrated security? I defined a user like "...
identified by externally". The user is defined on the domain, not on the
local NT machine. However, when I tried to log on as the user, I got an
"invalid user/password; login denied" error. Do anyone know why and how I
can get it to work?
- What is the best way to extract data out a table into ASCII format
(fixed length or delimited")?
- How do I get a copy of client for HP-UX 10.10?
- I read a book saying that I can create a schema using one account, then
lock the account and grant other users read-only right for the objects.
How can I do something like that? I can not make tablespace read-only
'cause the objects are on 3 tablespaces and shared the tablespace with
other users' objects.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
