I don't recommend placing online redo logs on RAID5 devices due to their write-intensive nature and RAID5's typically poor write performance. I also encourage you to use Oracle's multiple log group/multiple log member per group capability as Oracle doesn't know you're using RAID and can't automatically take advantage of RAID mirroring as it can with multiple log group members.
