Hi Roger,

We place our Database on RAID 5 and RAID 1

The Tabels are placed on a RAID 5 System the indexes are placed on a seperate RAID 5 System ( each system has it's own controller)
Rollback , Temporary and archiving is placed on RAID 1

the performance is excelent.

our configuration:
Compaq Prolinat 5000 4 * 200 Mhz PPro
2 * 10 GB net Raid 5 (tables and tndexes) 3 * 4 GB net Raid 1 for rollback, temp and archiving

it's working fine
