Everything looks OK, One suggestion which you might have already taken care of :

• Shutting down the listener after adding the entry for the second instance and starting it again. Try this even if you chosen the Auto startup option.
• Instead of talking from the client machines, try to install SQL*PLUS on the server and try to connect from the server machine itself. This time just copy the TNSNAMES.ORA from Network/Admin directory of the server to the client part of the server and try connecting.
• I dont know what do you have in the sqlnet.expire_time option in your sqlnet.ora file. If this entry is a small number, try changing it into a very large number

If you had already solved this problem, please let me know who you cracked this.
