OCI: binding arrays in select statements?

Using OCI, is it possible to bind arrays in SQL select statements where arrays appear in:

1. the select list.
2. the where clause.
3. both 1 and 2.

We can do it for insert statements but are unable to do it for select statements. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
