ORA-4031

After upgrading a Oracle 7.2.2.0.0 server to 7.3.2.2.0 and issuing the 'alter database open' I get an ORA-4031 (unable to allocate shared memory) error.
I use Windows NT 3.51 on a Proliant 5000 with 1GB internal memory. Increasing shared memory doesn't help one bit.

Are there more people having this problem, and if so, what's the solution?
