To put on RAC you also need to install Clusterware and may need ASM. An estimate of 6 hours per day for 4 weeks is not unreasonable. You might be able to do the entire process in a few days or it could take a couple of months. It all depends on if you have done it before, with the same release, who is handling the OS part, if everyone involved has read the installation materials and actually followed them, if the hardware is approved/certified for use with RAC, etc ...

This is all before you take into account the application requirements, testing, migration, etc ...
