Obviously Oracle is a product which is never changes. This is why you
considered it unimportant to post the exact version, so volunteers
need to outline the options for all versions.
Also Oracle is an undocumented product, at least you couldn't be
bothered to read the documentation.
By doing so you require volunteers to abstract the documentation.
Usenet is about helping other people out. It is not about doing the work of the lazy ones for free.
If you want to change the archivelog destination there is no problem. If you want to relocate current archives, you can either run an adhoc archivelog backup, or read up on the UNCATALOG and CATALOG RMAN commands.
