Oracle Press books are not "official" Oracle books. It is my understanding that a license fee is paid to Oracle Corp. for use of the Oracle Press trade name.
The "official" Oracle books are the documentation manuals available online from various Oracle corporation web sites.
Oracle publishes a list of topics covered by the examinations that you can find from the main oracle.com website.
Depending when the book was prepared and the time line for the examination preparation it is very possible some topic was missed or it may just be presented in different sections of the material and you do not recognize it.
