stuck on Clone database creation step

I'm try installing Oracle 10g on a pSeries RHEL 4.

I'm on the "Database Configuration Assistant" screen and the "Clone database creation in
progress" bar shows 2% complete and is stuck there. I've waited a few hours and it hasn't moved. There no disk activity and no errors so I don' know what is going on.

A tail of trace.log under cfgtoollogs/dbca shows,
