This job will be in the Miami Florida vicinity ( W - NW suburbs of Miami).

Relocation is offered and will be handled on a per case basis.

DESCRIPTION: Our direct end client is seeking a high-energy, experienced Oracle Reports Lead with solid experience in Report Builder 6i, Oracle Applications, PL/SQL and database development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills in building complex Oracle reports that utilize the following: multiple queries, multiple groups and levels of repeating frames, calls to PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions, formula and summary columns, materialized views, format triggers and layout customization, lexical parameters, export to Excel, and report registration in Oracle Applications

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills with prior experience managing a small team of Oracle reports developers using Discoverer 10g (EUL, Views, Hierarchies and Security).

The position will collaborate proactively with functional users and analysts to translate business requirements into reports that will sustain and run the business. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for leading a small team of report writers for both Oracle Standard reports and Discoverer reports. Accountable overall for the delivery of reports on-time, within budget and per quality expectations.

Manage the business relationships associated with reports delivery.

Manage the reporting and unit testing activities of the team.

For the team, meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution. Responsible for Discoverer administration responsibilities.

Keep technology skills of the team current through training and development.

The candidate must have excellent skills developing reports using Discoverer 10g (EUL, Views, Hierarchies and Security).

Strong understanding of the lifecycle of technical development from technical design, unit testing to user testing, to production migration. Emphasize adherence to standards and controls, and conduct quality assurance over programs before migration to production.

Follow documentation, version control and testing, and migration standards.

Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise.

The individual will be responsible to lead the design and development of reports based on the approved requirements as per AIM methodology.

This position will have a positive effect on organization in helping the users identify, define, develop and test reports to run and analyze the business.

As the senior technical resource / reports lead, provide leadership over the reports team and guidance to the rest of the Development Team on reporting concepts and designs.

Also will be responsible for report definition, design, construction and testing.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.) in Engineering or Computer Science

OTHER: Lead must have several years leadership experience in Oracle ERP reports development, enhancement and customization. The candidate must have good functional working knowledge in several of these modules: AR, AP, CM, GL, PO, OM and INVENTORY.

The candidate must have excellent skills developing Oracle reports using Oracle Reports 6i for ERP; over 5 years of Oracle Reports 6i and Discoverer 10g.

The candidate must be very proficient in PL/SQL scripting.

Developing Report using XML Publisher is a plus.

The candidate must adhere to developing standards, process, guide lines and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley change management standards.

Work closely with functional, technical and business analyst and end users.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience in developing AIM methodology.

One full cycle ERP implementation.

EXPERIENCE: At least several years of solid Oracle ERP experience serving as a senior technical resource / reports lead in either an implementation or maintenance role for Oracle Reports (both standard Oracle and Discoverer).

Excellent working experience with several of the following modules is desirable: Oracle GL, AR, AP, CM, OM, Inv, TCA, PO.
