That is from Note:132904.1 section 6.3. It is saying the export is created by the V5 tool. The imp is done by the current version. FULL not supported.

"Every export dump file is importable into all future major, patch, and maintenance releases of Oracle. " in section 6.1.

No guarantee that it will be simple.

There are still some V5 sites around, maybe someone should actually try it.
