On Oracle 9.2.0.5, windows 2000 server,

select * from SYS.dba_ddl_locks

after a time being resulted with an error ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 2628 bytes
(callheap,temporary memory)

later
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 480 bytes
(Typecheck heap,frodef : qcpitnm)

We tried to track why compilation of the package resluted with an error ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object

any suggestions... Received on Mon Dec 10 2007 - 06:17:17 CST
