Oracle 8 is not certified for XP.
Also please stop being lazy and rude.
You are both lazy and rude because
- you refuse to do any resarch of your own - you don't post the TNS error and expect us to guess which TNS error you get.

Don't bother to post the same question with the error, as 8.0 is not certified for XP no one will respond.
