Hi,

What is the sql to delete 1000s of archivelogs out of an ASM diskgroup?

Our asmcmd is puking so we can't use it (still, the syntax for that would be appreciated). We can't shutdown the DB because of a huge load that is running. EM doesn't have a select all sorta option to delete them. Some of the logs where deleted out of sequence with EM so RMAN won't backup/delete them. Is there a way to use sqlplus to remove archivelogs that live in their own diskgroup?

10gR2 on HP-UX 11i.

thanks,
