I've found the sybex books for 9i useful. For kicks, last year I gave myself the goal to pass 2 exams ( procrastination ..in one month) and directly tied the goal to my bonus income. I was able to glean enough rote testing knowledge of some of the lesser known, but important to know for the test, features to pass and get my bonus. No substitute for actually doing the work, but reading and working the examples got me through with room to spare. This as one of 6 required goals. It was the easiest one.
