I don't fully read your answer but you can't give any answer until my previous question is not itself answered:

"If for a car you have a trip from 1:00 to 1:30 and for another one a trip from 1:35 to 1:50, do you have 1 or 2 cars for 01 slot?"

Moreover you made the assumption that trips are recorded at the second, in the real world it is more likely at the minute (or even more likely at the quarter of hour). You also made many other assumptions.
Finally, you answered a problem but this may not be the OP one.
