If your "home is google search," you should get a google account so you can customize your search page. There are a bunch of widgets you can add, including a "My Groups" widget that's like an RSS feed of your chosen news groups. Once you add that, you'll see the newest posts automatically underneath the Google search bar. No clicks necessary.

But for the record, actual newsreaders are vastly better than the Google interface, or the AOL interface before that, or whatever other idiot-friendly gateway will come next. Received on Thu Aug 17 2006 - 11:04:02 CDT
