This is has gone off-topic should anyone both to read the subject which relates to lookups but it should be noted Bob that your definition of a monopoly, above, is not the legal definition. Nor is it the definition used by economists or pretty much anyone else. You might want to learn what a monopoly actually is. What you are ranting about is equivalent to complaining to United Airlines that you can't take your frequent flyer miles to British Airways. Every company has the right to differentiate their product from that of the competition. If you don't like the way they did it then don't buy it. If you bought it then don't whine.

How many Oracle licenses have you personally purchased with your own funds?
