with workarea_size_policy set to AUTO and pga_aggregate_target to 2GB
(irrelevant parameters hash_area_size to 1MB and sort_area_size to 1MB
according to askTom), there were no disk sorts.



i then added 'parallel' hint and now is see that there were 2 disk
sorts.  



does this mean that pga_aggregate_target is not enough?
