Oracle9i client (Windows Interface components) were apparently incorrectly installed on a workstation and I am trying to reinstall them. The workstation is Windows XP Pro. It gets about 80% and failes with the following error:

Error

Certain files which need to be reinstalled by Oracle Universal Installer are being used by one or more running services.

The following running services need to be shutdown before continuing: OracleMTSRecoveryService

I went to Task manager and I cannot find this service to terminate, and there is nothing in Add/Remove programs to remove in relation to Oracle components. Where do I need to go to stop this service so I can perform a proper reinstall? Thanks for any suggestions.
