Directing one to your personally maintained website has quite a bit of similarity to, not as egregious, but still holds its own flavor of commercialism. Do you honestly think that Daniel does not use his site in his own endeavors of getting teaching gigs or his next client DBA gigs? Would it surprise you if he points to google postings proving how helpful his site is?

I have no problem with Daniel sending posters to his site, none at all. My problem is with his very public disgust with spammers when he is also behaving as one, only of a less/different degree.
