No, I don't think so.
One would assume some basic IT knowledge. Moreover he is claiming to be an 'unix guru', and he doesn't even know what an I/O controller is!
If it wasn't so sad, one would laugh about it. Moreover, he multiposted this.
In the time he needed to multipost, he could have looked it up in an online resource.
Which I did, and posted to news:comp.databases.oracle.server before posting this.
So, frankly, I think the OP got what he deserved. Just read the replies of HPuxrac and Mladen Gogala, and I have been neutral.
