No, you can't rollback a sequence once it is triggered.

The following is NOT recommended:
You can have "do it yourself sequences", have a table, in it keep a number, max+1 the number, update the table, it fails, it rolls back. But this is very very bad and really will cause nothing but problems in the future.

I can scarcely believe I am suggesting it.
