My company LOVES metrics. And it is time again to write our 'goals'. They must be measurable. Why am I asking for help in writing goals here? Because all the finance people wrote theirs in terms to have to be a financial wizard to understand for starters. Now all the other departments are creating frankenstein goals (ones only they, due to their lingo, understand).

I run Oracle 9i on HP-UX. My goals have to be related to Oracle performance/availability/etc.

I just thought it would be fun to get some highly technical terminology that only a DBA/Unix Admin would love into my goals this year.
