We are running an Oracle 10g Server.
The Server is only a DB Server.
At the moment the server performs not
very good. We have the same DB on another server. There the perfomamnce is much better. This server has 2GB of memory the other one only 1 GB. We installed both DBs with the option "use 40% of memory". Now I'd like to figure out what amount of memory would be the best and can we install a Server with only Oracle running with more than 40% memory use. Is there a way to figure out how much memory would be the best for a running DB?

Tnaks Björn
