utl_http.set_transfer_timeout

When I try to invoke a request to a web service which is not available, my app hangs for approx 60 seconds. Does anyone have an information on how to set the default timeout for utl_http.set_transfer_timeout to a lower value that is effective over all sessions? Received on Fri Aug 26 2005 - 08:03:04 CDT
